Bass players face one big problem at gigs.... amplification. Sure you can DI into the PA system but if you want your specific tone on stage with controls right there at your fingertips you need your own rig.... but do you fancy carrying around a massive bass amp on tour? No....

The Peavey MiniMax 500 solves that problem. It's light (less than 6lbs), portable, can plug into the venues cab, your own home studio setup or act as a controlable unit between you and the PA. IT also comes with some great features that will make all the difference to your onstage sound or your studio and recording sessions.

Powerful yet controllable

The MiniMax delivers 500 Watts of powerful, rich low end with DDT™ speaker protection and Peavey’s exclusive psychoacoustic low end enhancement that adds bass without overburdening speakers. You dont have to worry about that rumbling, speaker busting noise that a lot of bass units suffer from.

Very flexible sound

The MiniMAX is capable of a huge array of tones and is adaptable to any live or studio setting. A 3-band EQ with Punch, Mid-shift and Bright controls provides a multitude of tone-shaping options, while the built-in chromatic tuner allows for easy tuning on the fly. In addition, the MiniMAX pre-gain control with TransTube® gain boost adds a tube-like crunch to the sound.

Solid construction

Featuring the rock-solid construction for which Peavey is known, the MiniMAX™ is built to withstand years of rigorous touring use. The convenient back panel of the amplifier has all the connectivity necessary to patch in effects or connect to a sound reinforcement system. Pair the MiniMAX with Peavey’s Headliner™ or PVH™ series of bass enclosures to complete a reliable, ultra-lightweight professional bass system.

CITES

CITES regulations concerning the export of items containing certain woods affect any guitar sold ouside of the European Union and which contains any quantity of either Rosewood or Bubinga.  In these cases, an additional charge of £80.00 will be levied per species after the sale to pay for the required re-export certificate.  There will be a delay in dispatching any guitar containing either Bubinga or Rosewood of up to 4 weeks while we obtain the necessary certification for export. As the charge is per species, where a guitar contains both Bubinga AND Rosewood, the charge is doubled to £160.00.  We will contact you following your purchase of any guitar containing a controlled wood and advise of the charge once you have placed the order.  You can make payment for the charge by sending a Paypal payment to us at: sales@fxpedal.co.uk.

Note that CITES only applies to guitars containing Rosewood or Bubinga that are being exported outside the European Union.  Guitars being delivered with the United Kingdom or in the European Union will be dispatched as normal.
