The new Classic Design acoustic guitars by Fender are truly a delight to behold, from their well-balanced tones to their striking appearance. The CD-60S hails from Fender's Classic Design '60s series and has the time-honoured dreadnought body shape which conveys a full-bodied acoustic timbre.

CLASSIC DESIGN BODY

The CD-60S is shaped to the classic dreadnought design, a quintessential guitar profile. A solid spruce top and mahogany back and sides help to produce a deep, balanced timbre with great projection. Fender have strengthened the body top using quartersawn scalloped "X" bracing which enables the body to resonate with freedom. The mahogany contributes a real warmth to the CD-60S' overall sound that stands out among other acoustic models.

NECK

The CD-60S also features smooth mahogany in the construction of the neck. The neck is shaped to an "easy-to-play" profile which is ideal for a whole range of guitar players, such as younger players and beginners, or faster players. A 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with comfortable rolled edges sits atop of the neck with a 12 inch radius. Fender have decorated the frets with 3mm pearloid dot inlays to guide you through each transition.

HARDWARE AND FINISH

The Fender CD-60S is equipped with a robust rosewood bridge which holds a firm connection between the strings and body via the white bridge pins. The guitar resonates with great sustain thanks to the bridge and tonewoods. The traditional Fender headstock is fitted with chrome die-cast tuners which uphold tuning integrity with precision.

The body has a stunning gloss finish complemented by a black pickguard and multiple binding. A CD Series rosette decorates the soundhole for a neat visual aesthetic. The Fender CD-60S Acoustic Guitar is a joy to play at any level, and suits a wide range of various musical styles.

CITES

CITES regulations concerning the export of items containing certain woods affect any guitar sold ouside of the European Union and which contains any quantity of either Rosewood or Bubinga.  In these cases, an additional charge of £80.00 will be levied per species after the sale to pay for the required re-export certificate.  There will be a delay in dispatching any guitar containing either Bubinga or Rosewood of up to 4 weeks while we obtain the necessary certification for export. As the charge is per species, where a guitar contains both Bubinga AND Rosewood, the charge is doubled to £160.00.  We will contact you following your purchase of any guitar containing a controlled wood and advise of the charge once you have placed the order.  You can make payment for the charge by sending a Paypal payment to us at: sales@fxpedal.co.uk.

Note that CITES only applies to guitars containing Rosewood or Bubinga that are being exported outside the European Union.  Guitars being delivered with the United Kingdom or in the European Union will be dispatched as normal.
