Mustang Single-Coil Pickups

The set of low output single coil pickups provide this Mustang Guitar with a classic jangly tone, which can be heard on hundreds of underground recordings. These vintage-spec pickups provide the Traditional 60s Mustang with its beautifully clean, pristine tones, offering an incredible mid and upper harmonic range which cuts through the mix. The punchy low frequencies have become a famed attribute for guitar riffs and thick chord work, and these single-coil pickups can keep up with the harsh tones of alternative music.

Classic Alder Body

This 60s Mustang features an alder body to deliver an incredibly resonant and balanced tone, with plenty of clarity for notes to sing. The body's comfortable contours provide a smooth performance, while the lightness of the tonewood ensures players don't strain their shoulders during long performances.

Maple Neck & Rosewood Fingerboard

The maple neck tightens up the Fender Guitar's overall tonality, providing extra cut to help punch through dense mixes. Its comfortably smooth feel and slim ''C'' profile offers an incredibly fast performance, allowing players to deliver beautiful leads and solos with ease. The maple neck is paired with a rosewood fingerboard, bringing softer tones as well as warm and smooth articulation.

Fender Japan Guitars

Fender Japan was established as a way for Fender to market their guitars to the Japanese market, allowing for the creation of low cost Fender guitars that still possess the high expectations and build quality of their American counterparts. Japan is often considered to be one of the leading places in the world for guitar manufacturing, and although most of the guitars produced are not sold in the UK, the FSR series allows players to purchase an exceptionally high quality and unique guitar.

The Fender Mustang

The Mustang has become a hallmarked shape surrounding underground music and culture since its launch in 1964. The Mustang was produced until 1982 and then reissued in 1990 where it a cult sensation as more alternative rock bands began to use it. This unique guitar has become a classic choice for performing musicians worldwide, and has been used by notable musicians such as Kurt Cobain, Dave Alvin, Matty Healy, Theresa Wayman, and many others.

CITES

CITES regulations concerning the export of items containing certain woods affect any guitar sold ouside of the European Union and which contains any quantity of either Rosewood or Bubinga.  In these cases, an additional charge of £80.00 will be levied per species after the sale to pay for the required re-export certificate.  There will be a delay in dispatching any guitar containing either Bubinga or Rosewood of up to 4 weeks while we obtain the necessary certification for export. As the charge is per species, where a guitar contains both Bubinga AND Rosewood, the charge is doubled to £160.00.  We will contact you following your purchase of any guitar containing a controlled wood and advise of the charge once you have placed the order.  You can make payment for the charge by sending a Paypal payment to us at: sales@fxpedal.co.uk.

Note that CITES only applies to guitars containing Rosewood or Bubinga that are being exported outside the European Union.  Guitars being delivered with the United Kingdom or in the European Union will be dispatched as normal.

You can find out more information about CITES here: https://reverb.com/uk/news/new-cites-regulations-for-all-rosewood-species
