The Ibanez 2018 AZ2402 Prestige Electric Guitar is an instrument of the highest pedigree. Crafted in Japan by Ibanez' luthiers, it features high quality tonewoods, hardware and appointments that are beautifully woven together. Whether you're adding to your collection, or purchasing your go-to model for hitting the studio with or taking out on tour, the AZ2402 offers the ultimate in affordable luxury. Each model is supplied with a hardshell case, getting you to every gig in safety and style.
To establish a comfortable fit and feel, the AZ2402 is shaped to a slender-bodied, deep double-cutaway profile. Thanks to the sweetly contoured curves and gently bevelled edges, the guitar rests snugly against your body as you sail through each and every performance. The rolled-off lower bout allows your picking arm to rest in a natural position, and removes any obstacles from impeding movement. Whether you prefer to play in laid back fashion or go out all guns blazing, the AZ2402 allows you to perform with absolute freedom. The body is built using alder, a hardy tonewood with a surprisingly lightweight feel that offers a balanced tonal output.
Paired with the body is a roasted maple neck, which offers peerless stability from the moment you pick it up. Shaped to Ibanez' AZ oval C shape profile, your fretting hand is afforded a substantial yet manageable playing support. Married to the neck is a roasted maple fingerboard, which is home to 24 frets that are adorned with luminescent side dot inlays to guide your way on the darkest of stages.
The Ibanez 2018 AZ2402 is fitted with a pair Seymour Duncan Hyperion humbuckers, one in the neck position, and one in the bridge position. Each pickup translates the dynamics of your performance with the utmost clarity to capture every nuance perfectly. Whatever style of music that you perform, you can transition between anything and everything seamlessly. Control comes in the form of master volume and tone controls, as well as the dyna-MIX10 switching system with alter switch.
The body of the Ibanez 2018 AZ2402 Prestige is equipped with a Gotoh T1802 tremolo bridge, which provides accurate tremolo control whilst optimising intonation and sustain. The headstock is home to Gotoh MAGNUM LOCK machine heads with H.A.P. to uphold tuning integrity with absolute precision throughout the most demanding of performances.
As we've come to expect from an Ibanez Prestige series model, the AZ2402 is perfect for discerning professionals who demand nothing but the best.

CITES regulations concerning the export of items containing certain woods affect any guitar sold ouside of the European Union and which contains any quantity of either Rosewood or Bubinga.  In these cases, an additional charge of £80.00 will be levied per species after the sale to pay for the required re-export certificate.  There will be a delay in dispatching any guitar containing either Bubinga or Rosewood of up to 4 weeks while we obtain the necessary certification for export. As the charge is per species, where a guitar contains both Bubinga AND Rosewood, the charge is doubled to £160.00.  We will contact you following your purchase of any guitar containing a controlled wood and advise of the charge once you have placed the order.  You can make payment for the charge by sending a Paypal payment to us at: sales@fxpedal.co.uk.

Note that CITES only applies to guitars containing Rosewood or Bubinga that are being exported outside the European Union.  Guitars being delivered with the United Kingdom or in the European Union will be dispatched as normal.

You can find out more information about CITES here: https://reverb.com/uk/news/new-cites-regulations-for-all-rosewood-species
