A superb gateway into the time-honored Fender family, the Squier Affinity Series Stratocaster HSS delivers legendary design and quintessential tone for today’s aspiring guitar hero. This Strat features several player-friendly refinements such as a slim and comfortable “C”-shaped neck profile, a vintage-style tremolo bridge for expressive string-bending effects and sealed die-cast tuning machines for smooth, accurate tuning. Loaded with a Squier humbucking bridge pickup and single-coil neck and middle pickups for genre-defying sonic variety, this model is ready to accompany any player at any stage.

Ultimate sonic versatility

A sound for any setting. This Affinity Strat comes loaded with a unique pickup combination, consisting of two single-coils and a humbucker at the bridge position. It’s this particular layout that gives this Affinity Strat the ability to excel in any musical situation.

After the snappy, punchy bite of single-coils? Or rather the texture and warmth of a vintage humbucker? With this Affinity Strat, the sonic capabilities are endless. Dial in the tone you desire with the classic 5-way pickup selector; a feature famed for decades of use on iconic Stratocaster guitars. Whether it’s rock, funk, blues, or pop – the Affinity Strat has a sound that proves it’s flexibility across all genres.

Incredible playing comfort

Supreme playability. A C-shaped neck profile helps you play as freely as possible, for as long as possible. The profile is specifically designed to sit perfectly in the palm of your fret-hand. This eliminates hand cramp and allows you to practice for long periods to hone your skills, or exhilarate audiences with live performances that can go on and on.

Furthermore, the Affinity Strat's maple neck is extremely smooth. This allows you to glide up and down the frets with ease. You'll be able to play at rapid speed comfortably with a neck that's built for soloing and fast-paced playing. The sleek, comfortable profile is well-suited to players of all ability levels.

Exquisite tonal balance

Fantastic tone in any key. A wonderful blend of high-calibre tonewoods makes the Squier Affinity Strat a supremely versatile instrument that sounds amazing at any pitch. Enjoy full-bodied tones with plenty of depth courtesy of a solid alder body. This will give each chord you strike dominating power and voice.

Solo with incisive sharpness. A maple neck and Indian laurel fingerboard combination can give each and every note punchy brightness. These woods provide a dynamic mid-range and scintillating high-end to complement the alder's bass-heavy qualities. A brilliant all-round guitar to help you achieve any sound you desire.

Superb Strat style

Striking and bold with a magnificent vintage feel. Stratocasters are well known for their sleek, incredibly attractive aesthetic. In the Affinity Series Stratocaster, Squier by Fender have crafted an instrument of unparalleled elegance that would slot comfortably into a gallery of history's most beautiful guitars. An eye-catching, metallic race green finish gives a classic, cultured style to the instrument, and glittering chrome hardware adds even more stunning shine and gloss. A brilliant white pickguard provides a classy contrast to the colour, and the guitar is finished off with a two-colour "Squier by Fender" headstock logo in black and gold. Pure elegance.

The story of Affinity Series

Legendary and accessible. Squier, in their initial form, were originally string manufacturers for guitars, banjos, and violins. Fender were impressed by the high quality of their strings, and acquired the company in 1965. However, after a decade, Fender began to manufacture and market strings under their own brand name, and Squier became defunct.

In 1982, the Squier brand was reactivated as Squier by Fender, and began making lower-priced versions of Fender's classic, legendary guitars. The Affinity Series has versions of Fender models ranging from the Jazz Bass, Telecaster, Jazzmaster, and Stratocaster. Each of the Affinity Series instruments strives to maintain the classic, unbeatable quality of the originals for a price that's accessible for all. The perfect guitars for beginners and experts alike who aren't looking to break the bank for a fantastic instrument. Matchless quality at unbelievable prices.

CITES

CITES regulations concerning the export of items containing certain woods affect any guitar sold ouside of the European Union and which contains any quantity of either Rosewood or Bubinga.  In these cases, an additional charge of £80.00 will be levied per species after the sale to pay for the required re-export certificate.  There will be a delay in dispatching any guitar containing either Bubinga or Rosewood of up to 4 weeks while we obtain the necessary certification for export. As the charge is per species, where a guitar contains both Bubinga AND Rosewood, the charge is doubled to £160.00.  We will contact you following your purchase of any guitar containing a controlled wood and advise of the charge once you have placed the order.  You can make payment for the charge by sending a Paypal payment to us at: sales@fxpedal.co.uk.

Note that CITES only applies to guitars containing Rosewood or Bubinga that are being exported outside the European Union.  Guitars being delivered with the United Kingdom or in the European Union will be dispatched as normal.
